Step 2. Set the Curd

After boiling milk, it is cooled and this milk is kept in an earthen vessel. Now change the earthen pot, and add 1 or 2 spoons of curd to this milk. While adding curd, do not stir the milk vigorously, but stir very little. Now keep this milk in a closed room, but keep in mind that the room or that place should be warm. Next Morning you will find high-quality, natural curd. A wooden tool called Bilona is used to churn the curd, and the curd is placed in an earthen vessel and tied to a stable surface. There is also a way to rotate the wood, which means, to churn the curd, first the wood is turned clockwise and secondly in an anti-clockwise direction.

Keep in mind that while churning, keep adding a little amount of cold or hot water as per requirement.

Step 4. Separate the Makkhan(Butter)

After 35 to 40 minutes of churning, butter/makkhan is made from curd. And from this butter, ghee is made. Currently, this function is also used directly. Separate the butter and the left white color liquid is butterMilk Or Lassi.
